Congratulations to IM Dean Ippolito for winning the title of New Jersey Champion of 2009. Dean was tied with Tom Bartell and GM Michael Rohde for first with 5.0 points. Tommy was the tiebreak winner.

Chess Night with the BlueClaws on August 3rd!

Come join us at the BlueClaws stadium for the first ever Chess Night! The BlueClaws will be hosting this event at their stadium during a game. Activities will include a pre-game blitz tournament to decide who will throw the opening pitch as well as as a simultaneous exhibition against WGM Jennifer Shahade and blitz games all night. The Passing of Albert Bozcar

Albert passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the age of 92. He had a remarkable life rich with laughter and love and he impacted many people for the better. A memorial service will be held on June 20 at 2:00 PM at the Stockton Presbyterian Church in Stockton, NJ. To view his obituary click here.
